Most memorable moment outdoors:
Last summer while hiking the John Muir trail a friend and I were exploring a mossy meadow in a glacial valley barefoot. A small rockfall started and grew bigger and bigger. Soon it was a cloud of dust and there were boulders coming out towards us. We turned and sprinted towards the lake as boulders were flying past us. That was exhilarating.
